Step 3: Apply

Once you've found the right fit, submit your application. You will be notified of your application status between March and April.

Application Timeline & Key Information

Application Dates

Applications for the 2027–2028 year will be accepted June 1 through September 1.

Term Length

Volunteers are generally appointed to a one-year term beginning July 1, with the option to extend up to three years based on engagement and organizational needs.

Number of Applications

Individuals may apply for up to three volunteer groups and indicate their ranked preferences on the application.
