At the AICPA, we believe the accounting and finance profession is positioned for continued success when everyone has a right to succeed,including those who identify as LGBTQ+. To that end, we provide resources to help organizations foster a sense of belonging and safety,so that members of the LGBTQ+ community can bring their authentic selves to work within the accounting and finance profession.We facilitate an environment for free and open discussion on key issues impacting the LGBTQ+ community and for brainstorming actionsand resources needed to better support our colleagues and students. Together, we are creating a more inclusive profession representative of the many individuals and communities we serve across the globe.
