Hi Harry,
Thank you for your assistance. I found it in the library section, listened to it and found it very insightful.
Here is my take-away from the video: you may ask AI to help you write your PERs, but you are not allowed to ask AI to make up your PERs. Does that make sense? To make it more practical, this is how I approached it...
I did a task and realised that this could be a possible PER. What I would do then is I would give AI a detailed explanation of what I did, what my thought pattern was, how I approached it, and what I did with the information I obtained. After giving AI a detailed explanation, I would ask it: "To what PER do you think this pertains the most?" I would give it suggestions as to what I think it would pertain to and it would challenge my perception.
After I have come to the conclusion as to which PER I want it to be, it would ask me a few final questions to clear out any uncertainty. Thereafter, I would ask it to take my experience and turn it into a clean PER submission according to the STAR template. After it has finished, I would proofread it to ensure that I agree with the info in the text and change some information to either make it my own or clear out anything that was not relevant (sometimes AI can get creative).
I would like to hear your thoughts on this. How would you have approached it if you were doing your PERs in the AI-era?
