Hi Elwen, thank you for taking the time to write this post! I know there will be many people who feel the way you do and face similar challenges and I hope your positive attitude rubs off on us all.
You are right, sometimes even writing something like this takes too much time and effort - both of which we are so short of with everything else in our lives. But the part where you say you are doing this for you, for your family is key; that's the goal and it's the perfect goal. And this goal will become your reality one day!
I am pleased you are feeling motivated already and I hope following the Online Study Guide, allows you to get some focused exam prep over the next 3 weeks.
Yes the mocks will help! This is why we have a shorter mock in this programme - to make it a little bit easier to fit in amongst other commitments - that I know you will all be juggling.
Everyone, please keep conversations going, this is a private space with only those people who have chosen to join as you all want the best chance of passing this resit in August - and Emma and I are on hand in here to answer any questions, help in any way you need us to.
I hope this is a productive week for you all. I will catch up again with you in a couple of days - but you know where we are in the meantime.
Cheers
Nasheen

Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of this community. I was a bit reluctant to join because I was concerned that I will just not have enough time to read through all my email correspondence and to concentrate on work and of cause family life.
Being a Mum with an 8- and 11-year-old and working full time, doing housework plus trying to fit CIMA in is not easy and becomes very overwhelming at most time, but I know I am not the only one and I know I am not alone. Lucky for me, I get support from my husband and he understands how important this study journey is for me and us as a family.
I have just joined the community last week and I am only starting to delf into the program and the provided material. So far, I am beginning to feel motivated and supported, thank you. Just by being able to sit and write this message to all of you is a sign of me making time for CIMA and not expecting CIMA to make time for me.
I am re-sitting my OCS. I failed my February exam which was based on the SumTrix pre-seen back in February 2026. I failed with a score 4 and the examiners feedback was basically a lack of reference to the pre-seen and also a lack of technical application in some questions. The exam was daunting at the start and I was very, very nervous and kept on focusing on the clock in the corner of my screen. After the first question I then started to ease into the exam. So where did I go wrong? I did not sit one mock exam because I did not make or felt that I did not have the time. I did not revise enough past papers and I possibly had a lack of technical understanding.
On the positive side, I have booked my August exam and will be sitting it on the 7th of August. I have exactly 21 days as from today to push and prepare for this exam. I told myself that it takes 21 days for a person to overcome a bad habit so let me take 21 days to concur the exam.
All the best to you all in preparing for your exams and don't think about failing just know that you are going to pass if you put in the hard work. Let's do this together!
Kind regards
Elwen 😊

Hi everyone, I hope your week is going ok. To those of you who have just joined the programme - Welcome.
I hope you have all had the opportunity to look at the Online Study Guide and maybe have started looking at the Exam preparation objectives, maybe started working through some of the resources.
Let us know where you are at? Are there any areas that you would like further support on, or maybe have a point you would like to discuss or just something that you would like to share with us and others, our peers on here, who are working towards the same exam then please feel free to post a new thread.
This challenge is one that we can try and tackle together - just reach out.
