Emerging Professionals

As we get into the Christmas season, many of us as individuals and firms are looking for ways to give back, whether that's volunteering, donating, or supporting local organizations. For those of us early in our careers, these moments really matter. They help us stay grounded, build connections outside the office, and remind us why community involvement is such an important part of our growth as emerging leaders in this profession.

This year, our firm participated in the MSCPA Days of Service, joining a friendly competition for the most food items donated and the best display. We collected more than 3,000 food items and built a display inspired by the movie Up! We even turned it into an internal Tax vs. Audit challenge, which added some fun to a busy season and brought a fresh burst of energy into the office.

This is great to see, Steven! We will be giving back at the AICPA Leadership Academy with our Cardz for Kidz event where we make cards for children in hospitals across the world.

That display is adorable! I'm also a huge fan of anything with a prominent dog figure :)

My firm supports Wreaths Across America (An initiative honoring our veterans by placing wreaths on the graves of fallen service members during the holiday season) and The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program. I love both of the programs not only for the meaningful work they do, but because there are ways for me to be involved or contribute from afar.
