    🚨Update: Government Shutdown Ends After Record-Breaking 43 Days 🚨
Late Wednesday night (Nov. 12), President Trump signed a government funding package officially ending the 43-day government shutdown.

    As Melanie Lauridsen
summarizes, the legislation secures operations for most agencies through Jan. 30 and provides full-year funding for three others. The deal restores pay for over a million furloughed employees, and resumes critical programs such as food assistance and transportation services.

The AICPA continues to closely monitor developments.
