How do regional economic differences between provinces (e.g., Alberta vs. Ontario vs. Atlantic Canada) shape your forecasting models? Any major differences?

Hi Evgenia, interesting question! In my view, it will be the difference in taxation systems that will create a contrast in the forecasting models from various provinces. Happy to hear more on this topic.

Thank you both! I agree with your points.

Curious if you have any experience with various taxation systems within provinces of Canada, as I have only lived and been exposed to Ontario.

I can also think of seasonality being one factor, as winter is not the same across all provinces

I work in tech and we have a fully remote setup. We do have people spread across the country but mostly concentrated in BC, AB, ON, NS, QC.

Interesting question! I agree with Nouman on taxation structures being a major area of consideration.
I have also found comp expectations to be an area I need to be aware of when building budgets. Especially in organizations that are remote and can hire talent across the country, WHERE to source talent from can be a financial decision.
Time zones across regions can play a big part in team structures as well, as - for example - I've seen customer-facing teams hiring across all the times zones to provide maximum support coverage for customers.
