Wow! What an amazing time at the AICPA ENGAGE Conference in Las Vegas! This was my third year attending, and it seems to get better every year.
Getting the opportunity to hear from Ryan Reynolds and Richard Galanti was a huge highlight, but my favorite part of the conference was the people. There's something special about walking through the hotel and constantly running into familiar faces, or having someone recognize you from a previous event/session/party. Those connections make the experience so much more meaningful.
It may sound cliché, but ENGAGE really does feel like a family reunion for accounting professionals. And if "family" feels like too strong a word, it's certainly one of the most welcoming and supportive communities I've ever been a part of. I'm already looking forward to next year!
