Most people in finance now call every AI tool "agentic"… but it's not.
LLM chatbots just respond to prompts.
RPA follows fixed scripts and rules.
RAG helps the model retrieve better data.
Useful? Yes.
But none of these can truly plan, decide and act across an end‑to‑end finance process.
A real AI agent has an orchestrator that handles: planning and reasoning, memory, tool usage (ERP, CRM, email, workflows), feedback loops, and even multi‑agent coordination.
