Volunteer groups work alongside staff to represent member interests, support the profession, and promote high standards of practice. Through diverse expertise and structured collaboration, they guide decision-making, provide continuity, and help identify future leaders.

AICPA Volunteers: Applications for the 2026–2027 volunteer year will be accepted from August 1 to October 1, 2025. The new term will begin in May 2026.
Volunteers are typically appointed for a one-year term, with possible extensions of up to three years based on engagement and organizational needs. Individuals may apply for up to three volunteer groups.

Regional Engagement Groups (REGs) and Management Accounting Committees: Applications for the 2026–2027 volunteer year will be accepted from August 1 to October 1, 2025. The new term will begin in June 2026.
